Dogfish Head Festina Peche

Relive those warm summer days with Dogfish Head Festina Peche! Delicately hopped, Festina has notes of natural peach, and is a light, dry beer. 

Though it's traditionally served during summer, we love it so much, we have it on our draft menu right now!

Allagash Black on Tap

We just added Allagash Black to our tap menu, and invite you to stop in for a draft before it’s gone! Allagash Black is a Belgian-style stout that’s brewed with 2 Row barley, terrified wheat, oats and roasted and chocolate malt. 

Combined with a generous portion of dark, caramelized candi sugar, this stout has a classic chocolate and malty toast, with hints of roasted coffee in the aroma. 

Be sure to stop in to try this beer, or any of the 30+ drafts we always have on tap!  

Founders CBS and the Jersey City Beer Community

On Thursday, January 5, we'll be tapping our keg of Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS). Consistently rated as one of the top beers in the world, this keg is worth its weight in gold to any true craft beer lover.

While many bars and restaurants offer this brew for $15 to $20 a glass, or only to select customers, we wanted to give all fans of craft beer the opportunity to try this great stout for a reasonable price. Starting at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, we'll be pouring 10 oz. glasses for $8.50.

Here at The Iron Monkey, we love craft beer. We support craft brewers large and small, and encourage our customers to expand their horizons at the bar, and develop their own taste for this special beverage. When we tap this keg of CBS, we want as many people as possible to try one of the best beers of the year. It's one way that we hope to help foster this craft beer community that we love so much.

We're Tapping Founders CBS!

On Thursday, January 5, the Iron Monkey will be tapping our keg of Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout. Released in October 2011, CBS is the second release in the brewery’s highly-anticipated “Backstage Series.”

Canadian Breakfast Stout is an Imperial Stout that’s brewed with a blend of coffees and imported chocolates, then aged in bourbon barrels that have most recently been aging pure Michigan maple syrup.

CBS has a BeerAdvocate.com rating of 100, and has gotten great reviews everywhere. We’ll start pouring at 8:30 p.m., but get there early – we expect a crowd of people who want to try this great brew!
